Research trip to Rwanda

The main purpose of the research trip was to inspect the pavment condition of the Gitarama-Kibuye National Highway and to evaluate the road materials testing system in Rwanda. During the visit to the Gitarama-Kibuye National Highway, it was observed that the pavement continues to suffer from stripping damages depending on the materials used to construct the paved road. Different laboratories were visited to evaluate the road materials testing system.
